Three weeks ago, an ads from various auction sites in the Internet caught my attention. This was about a P100 bill who has misspelled surname of the current President of the Philippines, Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. The correct form should be "Arroyo" but was mistakenly printed and circulated to the public as "Arrovo" by the Central Bank of the Philippines. Dami nga biru-biruan noon na sa ibang lengwahe, "Arrovo" sounds like Spanish "Robo" (robbery) and Japanese "Dorobo" (thief) !
The present bidding price for Arrovo bill, from what I saw, ranges from P500 up. Luckily, I possess two paper bills of this special collector's item.
It's time for our revenge! >:-)
