La Mesa Ecopark

The La Mesa Ecopark is located in East Fairview Subdivision, in Quezon City. It is in the heart of the La Mesa Dam Watershed which is the source of the Metro Manila water supply. The property is owned by the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), a government agency. La Mesa Watershed is 2700 hectares, 700 hectares of which is the reservoir and 2000 hectares of which is the surrounding forest.

The operating hours of La Mesa Ecopark start from 8AM to 5PM daily. The park’s admission fee is only Php 50 for adults and kids 3 feet and up. Quezon City residents get a discount: Php 40 for adults, Php 20 for students and free admission for senior citizens. Just provide a valid ID to enjoy the perk.

Superferry Boating Lagoon. This four feet lagoon is actually man-made. Like the Burnham Park in Baguio City, boats for rent are available in this area. However, a 30-minute joyride will cost you P100 per head!

But with the assembly of ducks around, boat riding is even more fun!

The pool has a separate admission fee. If you want to swim, you have to shell out an extra P80 (above 3 feet) and P40 (for 3 feet & below). Proper swimming attire is strictly implemented – no cotton made fabrics, no buttons & zippers.

Note: Littering is strictly prohibited all over the La Mesa Ecopark. Fine for violators is pretty expensive. Alcoholic beverages are also not allowed.
